533 | What We Tell Business Owners & Leaders

It’s human nature to want to believe that we’re alone with the problems we’re facing.

Our tendency is to think that no one else is experiencing what we are. That no one else is facing the same or similar challenges, or that we’ve got to face these things all on our own.

The good news is: it’s just not true! You’re not alone and your problems are usually common.

It’s helpful for us to “demystify” our challenges. What I mean is this: when we learn from others who have been in the same situation, we gain perspective and grow in our understanding.

This kind of learning is a key element to overcoming our challenges in a healthy and effective way. It might even help us to resolve our problems even faster than we could have alone!

After more than ten years of coaching and training leaders, and decades of leadership experience ourselves, we can say that most people’s problems are, in fact, common.

On today’s episode, we’re talking about the top three pieces of information and perspective that we find ourselves sharing with the leaders and business owners that we coach.

No matter how long you’ve been leading others, you probably need to examine yourself in each of these areas.

Grace and peace,

Chris
