They clearly want to feed you; let them know it’s not quite working with the current system. You could ask her about it now if you’re able to do it from a place of genuine curiosity (interest in knowing her thinking) rather than feeling slighted by it. Ideally you’d also be able to suggest some alternatives that would work well.
